Crunchii and its mobile application ("we," "our," or "us") believe that your privacy is really important. This Policy describes the personally identifiable information and other data that we will collect from you through the Crunchii food discovery app, and how we will use and when we might display such data to third parties.

Your installation and/or use of the Crunchii app and/or submission of information to us establishes your consent to this Privacy Policy and the processing of your information (personal and non-personal) as described in this policy. Please don't use the Services if you do not agree to this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

1. Personal Information

Information that identifies you personally and/or can be used to contact you online or offline, such as your full name, physical address, email address, telephone number, photograph, profile picture, precise geo-location information (when you share restaurant locations or food posts), payment information (if applicable), and your username.

2. Non-Personal Information

Information that does not identify you personally and cannot be used to contact you directly. This includes your date of birth, age, ZIP code, city, gender, food preferences, favorite restaurants, as well as device-related data such as unique device ID, Internet Protocol (IP) address, hardware/software/firmware information. It may also include usage data such as browser type, app usage patterns, posts you view, restaurants you search for, food categories you explore, interactions (likes, comments, follows), and visited URLs before or after using our app.

3. Content You Create

We collect the content you create and share on Crunchii, including: food posts with images, restaurant reviews, comments, likes, saved favorite restaurants, your profile information, and any other content you choose to share through the app.

4. Location Information

When you use location-based features, we may collect precise or approximate location data, including GPS coordinates, to help you discover nearby restaurants, share location-tagged food posts, and provide location-based recommendations. Location data is only collected when you grant permission and use location features.

How We Collect Information

• Through account registration or information you submit during sign-up.
• When connecting third-party networks (e.g., Google, Facebook, Apple) for social login.
• When you create food posts, upload images, or share restaurant information.
• Through your interactions with the app, including likes, comments, follows, and restaurant saves.
• When you search for restaurants, users, or food categories.
• When enabling push notifications for updates and interactions.
• With geolocation data (only with your explicit consent).
• Through Google Places API integration when you search for or save restaurants.
• Automatically via device IDs, IP addresses, and usage analytics.

• Features involving sharing personal info may be restricted for users under certain age limits as required by law.
• Parents can review their child's information by contacting us.

Public Display of Data

• Your food posts, restaurant reviews, profile information (as set in your privacy settings), and interactions (likes, comments) may be displayed publicly to other users of the app.
• Your username, profile picture, and public posts may be visible to other users in feeds, search results, and restaurant pages.
• Data shared via social networks (if you use social sharing features) may also be displayed on those platforms.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information, except where we are required to retain it by law or for legitimate business purposes.

International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have different data protection laws. By using Crunchii, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries.

Changes to This Policy

Our Privacy Policy may change from time to time. When updated, the "last updated" date will reflect the change. For material changes, we will notify you through the app or via email. Continued use of our Services after updates means you accept the revised terms.
