Data Deletion Instructions

At Crunchii, we respect your right to control your personal data. This page explains how you can permanently delete your account and all associated data from our servers. If you signed in using Facebook, Google, or Apple, these instructions also describe how to remove the data we received from those providers.

Option 1: Delete Your Account In-App (Recommended)

Step 1. Open the Crunchii app and log in to your account.

Step 2. Tap the Profile tab at the bottom of the screen.

Step 3. Tap the Settings icon (gear icon) in the top-right corner.

Step 4. Scroll down and tap "Delete Account".

Step 5. Confirm the deletion when prompted. Your account and all associated data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

Option 2: Request Deletion via Email

If you can't access the app or prefer to request deletion directly, send an email with the following details:

Subject: Account Deletion Request
Body: Include the email address associated with your Crunchii account and a brief statement requesting deletion.

We will process your request within 30 days and send you a confirmation email when complete.

What Data Will Be Deleted?

Your account profile (name, username, email, profile picture, bio).
All food posts, photos, reviews, and comments you created.
Your followers, following, likes, and saved restaurants.
Your preferences, settings, and location history within the app.
Any data received from third-party social login providers (Facebook, Google, Apple).

What Data May Be Retained?

For legal, security, fraud-prevention, or legitimate business reasons, we may retain certain limited data (such as transaction logs or compliance records) for a longer period as permitted by applicable law. This retained data is not used to identify or re-link you to your deleted account.

Third-Party Data

Deleting your Crunchii account removes the data we hold. However, to revoke our access to your Facebook, Google, or Apple account, you may also need to remove Crunchii from your connected apps list on those platforms:

Facebook: Settings → Apps and Websites → remove Crunchii.
Google: Google Account → Security → Third-party apps with account access → remove Crunchii.
Apple: Settings → Apple ID → Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple → remove Crunchii.
